What is CI?
Critical illness insurance is a form of health insurance that provides a lump-sum payment should you become seriously ill. Critical Illness insurance is typically added as a rider to an existing health insurance or life insurance policy.
Note: Critical illness (CI) provides employees with a lump-sum payment in the event of a named critical illness, allowing the employee to focus on recovery. CI insurance has everything to do with living and nothing to do with dying.
